Our Story
From Twin Cities Passion to National Recognition
In 2018, Mason Alt set out to revolutionize plant-based healing in the Twin Cities with a single mission: create products that actually work, taste incredible, and deliver consistent results every time.
In 2020, when our retail partner saw there was no quality hemp-derived THC chocolate on the market, we decided to make our own. What started as a response to customer demand became one of Minnesota's most recognized edible brands.
Today, we operate out of our 8,000 sq ft facility in Lauderdale, MN, serving customers across all 50 states with products that meet the highest standards of quality, potency, and taste.

A Legendary Partnership
Jesse Ventura wanted to team up with a Minnesota cannabis company to be the first politician to own a cannabis company. After interviewing more than 300 companies across the state, he selected Retro Bakery.
This partnership, launched in April 2024, represents a shared commitment to quality, transparency, and advancing hemp and cannabis innovation in Minnesota. Jesse saw what we've built — and wanted to be part of it.
